Accommodation options on Bimini are limited. The island is small, the visitor volume is a fraction of Nassau or the Exumas, and the supply of rooms has not grown as fast as demand during peak periods. Book early for any spring or summer travel.

Resorts World Bimini

The dominant property on the island. Resorts World Bimini opened in phases starting in 2013 and occupies a significant portion of North Bimini's western shoreline. The complex is located about 50 miles east of Miami and sits within a 4.5‑acre compound divided into three sections: marketplace, hotel, and beach club.

The main hotel is a five‑story building with a five‑minute walk to Fisherman's Village shops. Room types include standard rooms with one king bed or two queen beds, and executive suites featuring king beds, floor‑to‑ceiling windows, living areas, and marble accents. All standard rooms have a work desk, mini refrigerator, coffeemaker, safety box, beach towels, and 46‑inch HDTV. Guest check‑in includes complimentary cocktails and bottled water; wristbands are required throughout your stay. Wi‑Fi is available but unreliable.

The complex includes:

• Hilton at Resorts World Bimini, the main hotel tower, offering standard resort amenities. This is the closest thing Bimini has to a full‑service international resort hotel.
• SeaCasino, a floating casino vessel moored at the resort, the only casino on Bimini. The casino operates live table games, 160+ slot machines, a high‑limit room, and slot tournaments (18+). Hemingway's Casino Pub is onsite, serving burgers, wings, and cocktails.
• A marina with significant slip capacity for visiting boats.
• Five restaurants and bars across the property. The Tides serves a daily breakfast buffet and operates as a full‑service brasserie. The Sushi Bar, Hidden Treasure (24/7), and Lobby Bar round out dining options. Oasis is a swim‑up bar; Monkey Business is an adults‑only rooftop bar.

The fifth floor houses a spa and gym. Two pools serve different purposes: a ground‑floor lap pool and a rooftop infinity pool with four dry pods. The beach club occupies 1.15 acres reserved for hotel guests and Virgin Voyages passengers, featuring a shallow family pool and an adults‑only lagoon pool with DJs. Cabanas are available for rent. A free tram connects the main resort to the beach club.

Room service is available. Executive Chef Curtis Smithen leads the kitchen and can arrange catering for weddings and events.

Resorts World is the default option for visitors who want reliable amenities, air‑conditioned rooms, and a predictable resort experience. It is not a luxury property in the Aman or Rosewood sense, but it meets international standards.

Boutique and Guesthouse Options

Outside Resorts World, accommodation on Bimini is sparse and ranges from well‑kept to rough. A few guesthouses and small inns operate along the King's Highway in Alice Town. These are basic by international standards, think ceiling fans, simple furnishings, proximity to the water, but often preferred by anglers and divers who want character over polish and aren't spending much time in the room anyway.

The Bimini Big Game Club is a historic marina and resort property in Alice Town, associated with the sport fishing tradition of the island for decades.

Staying on a Boat

A meaningful proportion of Bimini's visitors sleep aboard. The island has established marinas; Resorts World Marina and the Big Game Club Marina are the two main options, and arriving by private boat and living aboard for the duration is a common and practical approach. This is the original Bimini experience.

Practical Notes

• Room availability can be limited during fishing tournament periods and major holidays. Book months in advance.
• There are no all‑inclusive resorts on Bimini in the traditional sense.
• The Resorts World casino is open to guests and non‑guests; it is a modest operation compared to Nassau's.
• If you need consistent, modern amenities and peace of mind, Resorts World is the clear choice. If you want to feel like you're somewhere slightly outside of time, the Alice Town guesthouses deliver that.
