Overview

CayHopper (cayhopper.com) is an independent travel guide covering the Bahamas. We don't collect or store personal information about visitors. Below is what little data the site does generate, and what choices you have about it.

Information We Collect

There are no user accounts on CayHopper, no forms asking for your details, and no advertising or tracking cookies. We aren't building a profile on you.

We do use a privacy-focused analytics tool to see which pages get read and where visitors are coming from. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't follow you to other sites, and doesn't keep anything that could identify you personally.

If you email us, we'll obviously see your address and whatever you write, the same as any email you send anyone. That's a normal email exchange, not something the site collects or stores.

How We Use Information

The aggregate traffic data helps us see which travel topics people actually read and catch technical problems. We don't sell anything, and we don't use visitor data for advertising.

Third-Party Services

CayHopper runs on third-party hosting and uses a third-party analytics tool to measure traffic. Those providers handle whatever they process under their own privacy practices. We also link out to outside sources, government advisories, transit operators, and the like, which aren't covered by this policy. Check their own privacy practices if that matters to you.

Your Choices

Your browser lets you block or delete cookies and turn on "do not track" settings if you want. CayHopper doesn't depend on cookies to work, so blocking them won't break anything on the site.

Children's Privacy

CayHopper is meant for a general audience, not children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We'll update this page if anything about our data practices changes. Check the date at the top to see when it was last revised.
